f21 to sponsor camps

foundation21 has agreed to sponsor the Down Syndrome Society of SA’s Camps and Getaway Program through funds raised from this year’s Buddy Walk.

The Down Syndrome Society is joining with Foundation 21 to make the 2011 Buddy Walk the best yet.  Buddy Walk is now becoming truly national with events happening in all Australian states. We plan to make the walk the highest profile event on the national calendar for Down syndrome to raise both money and community awareness.

This year Foundation 21 has committed to providing a major grant to our Camps and Getaways program from the proceeds of the walk.  This will enable more young people with Down syndrome to take part in these fun activities.

I therefore encourage all of our families, together with their friends and relations, to join in this fun event, raise lots of money and make it the best ever.
