REGISTER FOR BUDDY WALK ONLINE!

foundation21 has joined with mycause.com.au to help make registering for this year’s Buddy Walk much simpler – you can now register online by clicking here!

Registration is ‘Free’ until September 30, 2011 and you also recieve a ‘Free’ Buddy Walk cap – there is no obligation to fundraise, but if you do, you’ll be helping foundation21 raise much needed funds for speech therapy and other eductaional resources.

This year we’ll also be raising money to help sponsor camps that are run by the Down Syndrome Society of SA.

We look forward to seeing you at Elder Park on Sunday 9 October for Buddy Walk.

foundation21 has agreed to sponsor the Down Syndrome Society of SA’s Camps and Getaway Program through funds raised from this year’s Buddy Walk.

The Down Syndrome Society is joining with Foundation 21 to make the 2011 Buddy Walk the best yet.  Buddy Walk is now becoming truly national with events happening in all Australian states. We plan to make the walk the highest profile event on the national calendar for Down syndrome to raise both money and community awareness.

This year Foundation 21 has committed to providing a major grant to our Camps and Getaways program from the proceeds of the walk.  This will enable more young people with Down syndrome to take part in these fun activities.

I therefore encourage all of our families, together with their friends and relations, to join in this fun event, raise lots of money and make it the best ever.
