Buddy Walk ® is a walk in which anyone can participate without special training.

It is a wonderful, heart-warming event that celebrates the many abilities and accomplishments of people with Down syndrome.

Whether you have Down syndrome, know someone who does or just want to show your support, come and join us at Buddy Walk ® on Sunday 9th October, 2011

Course Map

Buddy Walk® 2011 will commence in Elder Park by the Rotunda where you will take a stroll around the Riverbank precinct.

2011 Sponsorship Program

Buddy Walk ® also plays a key role in helping raise funds for the development of educational and health support programs for children and young adults with Down syndrome. This year Foundation 21 has committed to providing a major grant to the Down Syndrome Society of SA’s Camps and Getaways program from the proceeds of the walk.  This will enable more young people with Down syndrome to take part in these fun activities.
